Three generations and no more
Most of us remember our grandparents, and some who are fortunate, their great grandparents. I have seen my great grandmother (on my mother's side) many times but hardly remember my grandfather (on my father's side).
Well, we will be remembered at best for two generations by our grandchildren and grand nieces or nephews. The body and memories are all mortal (unless you become a Gandhi).
