Why don't airlines serve 'chai'?

One can get an excellent cup of tea from any place in India, roadside tea stalls in Bombay, small restaurants (in Bangalore), railway platforms (maybe watery), etc. but always with milk. This is the standard that most Indians are used to and is always readily available.

Then why is it that the domestic airlines cannot serve an ordinary cup of 'chai' that the ordinary 'chaiwallah' is able to provide and that too at a moment's notice? Why do they need to serve it separately with milk? For a 2-3 hour flight, it should be much easier to have tea readily prepared in canisters and just poured out.

Why this need for black tea and coffee? This is India for heaven's sake

It seems the airlines are quite a bit alienated from the 'aam junta'!
