Lok Sabha renovation
The Indian parliament complex will be renovated. It has been decided to add a 20 bed hospital room and a 50 cell prison quarters adjacent to the main hall. This will ensure that members of parliament are able to fulfill their obligations in a timely manner. The Minister for Correction said that this will be taken up on a priority basis. He was speaking from his jail cell, currently located in another city.
While it is not clear if the current capacity will suffice for the current term, it is still seen as a pathbreaking move and will establish India as a true democracy
